Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

My go to mechanic the team took care of me and my truck on a walk in even in a full shop in & out! I wasn't waiting in a service department all day, talking to salesmen disguised as service advisors and technicians being told I need to buy this or do that. Bringing my other car for a full motor swap! Trustworthy, reliable, honest & fairly priced!

This is the best mechanic you will find ! If you are looking for professional , informative and honest interaction look no further! As a new Florida resident I have been looking for a reliable honest mechanic that I can trust and rely on when it comes to my automotive needs . Ariel has surpassed my expectations with getting my front end and suspension back to new car shape . He was very informative through the process and very detailed in the work that would be performed . My car is driving better than it ever has and I will never take any vehicle anywhere other than his shop . When I moved from my home town this was one of the things I was concerned about because I had my go to guy (Louie) for years and I never thought I would get that moving to Florida . I honestly believe my prayers have been answered . I feel so relieved to have found O&A auto . The best mechanic in town !!!!

I called Ariel at his shop at 9 AM this morning when I discovered my car battery was dead in my driveway. He was at my house within 90 minutes, quickly diagnose the problem, quickly swapped out the battery, and at approximately the same price I would’ve paid anywhere else. Without his mobile service, I would have spent most of the day getting a tow truck, towing it to a shop, waiting for their diagnosis, and then waiting for then to replace my battery when they could work my car into their shop. For about the same price, Ariel had the whole thing done at my own home within 90 minutes of me calling him. Great guy and easy to work with. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

I had a very positive experience with this shop. I was referred by another company to take care of my issues I had with my car. I liked the way Ariel was very informative and patient. He should me everything that needed repair and what was removed after. I appreciate the transparency from Ariel and his crew. I’d recommend him.

Ariel and his team have been maintaining our corporate fleet vehicles for years now and have always been very pleased with the service they provide. I’ve been in automotive service for over a decade and never have I witnessed such talent under the hood. These guys are professionals and quick. They offer a digital inspection and estimate to allow me to approve repairs from my mobile phone. The labor and parts pricing are very competitive and the quality is spot on. They even give you the old parts so that you know the new ones were installed. Seriously, I know for a fact that YOU WILL BE AMAZED when you bring your vehicle in for maintenance or repair.
